Southside Park

Size: 64.89 acres At Southside Park, there are many different amenities such as a volleyball court, a skate park, three baseball diamonds (one with batting cages), a soccer field, a cricket pitch, a toboggan hill, a gazebo, two covered pavilions, a fitness pavilion, three playgrounds and a splash pad (the splash pad and one of the playgrounds is within the Southside Aquatic Centre perimeter). The playground by Tip O'Neil baseball diamond has two swing sets, while the playground by the Sea Cadet Hall has a saucer swing, swing set and a toddler swing set, a sand box, a rope climbing structure, two play stuctures and a rock climbing structure. The last playground, within the Southside Aquatic Centre perimeter, has a play structure and saucer swings. Class A Baseball Diamond: Tip O'Neil is a hardball field with a homerun fence, irrigation, lights, bleachers and washroomsClass A Baseball Diamond: Softball/slopitch field has a home run fence, irrigation, lights, clay, bleachers and washroomsClass B Beach Volleyball Court: This court has a net and fencing, no lighting.Class B Cricket Pitch: This pitch has no lighting or netting.Class B Soccer Field: This junior field has nets, irrigation, no lights, and washrooms.
